Wow - this was incredible! It's an amazing and difficult challenge, but Dan and Becki are super-organised, super-supportive, and the ultimate leaders knowing just how to keep you going throughout. Their advice on equipment and preparation was invaluable and really important to follow. They have combined perfectly the elements of demand and celebration. Totally, totally amazing. What a great company to go with - it just felt like you were going with friends. Thanks, Dan and Becki - would recommend you 100%!

Montenegro Review

Well what to say about intotheoutside! Not sure there are enough superlatives in the world to describe the incredible experience Dan and Becki gave us in Montenegro 12th - 19th August 2018. From the very beginnings of this trip we just knew it was going to be something else. My best friend Lucy and I chanced upon an intotheoutside flyer in the Pen-Y-Ghent cafe in December and just knew we had to discover more about the Montenegro adventure trip.

Skip forward a few months and the exceptional support and guidance (from afar) that Becki and Dan gave us - with regards to preparation for the trip - was second to none. When the trip finally arrived we could tell straight away that it was going to blow our minds. Dan and Becki proved at every step of the way to be knowledgeable, professional, enthusiastic and committed to the task in hand - to have an unbelievably awesome trip. We visited places that I wouldn't have dreamed of being able to find without Dan and Becki's dedication: Durmitor national park - summiting the mighty Bobotov Kuk (2523 metres) overcoming extreme weather conditions and all of us exhilarated and thrilled to have reached the top of Montenegro - a special mention here to the every present positivity of our leaders, I don't think any of us could have acted so calmly without their support and encouragement; white water rafting and staying at a secluded camp on the Monte/Bosnian border - of which we had to cross the Tara river by rib boat even to step foot into camp, so many laughs and special memories made there - far too many to mention!; experiencing the majesty of every limestone cliff that Dan could persuade us to scramble up, we would just not have seen the views that we did without his enthusiasm and passion for adventure - despite the relentless teeny tiny squeeze driving conditions that he just breezed through! and finally experiencing the relaxation and beauty of the ancient walled city of Kotor and the mesmerising tranquility of Lake Skadar. There were many other moments of this trip which simply took our breath away, but here I have listed some of the highlights.

This trip really was hands down the best thing I have ever done and I cannot thank Becki and Dan enough for the hard work and effort they put into our adventure. I feel exceptionally lucky that we were so looked after and that we had a great connection as a group! Cannot wait for the next intotheoutside madness adventure!

Mountain biking review

We had an amazing time with Dan who took us Mountain Biking in Kentmere. It was always something i wanted to do, and i am hooked. Dan was patient as we got up some of the hills slowly, and gave excellent technical advice at every point of the ride, before we went on some wicked downhills. Its the best thing i have done, my partner Beth really enjoyed it too. Dan took us around Kentmere, down some super trails and we got to see some beautiful scenery. Dan was amazing, and really funny, we had a great day. Next time we are in the Lakes we will definitely meet up, and hopefully do an Advanced ride :)

Helvellyn Striding Edge Review

Dan and his dog Pan were excellent guides( enthusiastic, knowledgeable and fun ). As a couple in their late 40s we had never attempted anything like this before. Dan gave us the confidence to succeed, his knowledge of the local area was outstanding and it is so obvious he loves showing people around. As written in previous reviews it was more like going for a walk with a friend. We can not recommend into the outside highly enough, and if we return will certainly book with them again. Thanks for a great day walking and the photos.

Incredible weekend

What a wonderful weekend! My boyfriend and I stayed for two days and man did we pack it in! We started with a hike up to the beautiful views from St Sundays Crag, cooled off with a wild swin in a gorgeous tarn. We then canoed on Derwentwater to a breathtaking island, set up camp and unwinded around a bonfire with great company. The next day we finished off an insane weekend with some Ghyll Scrambling - so great to confront my fear of heights by jumping into the river from the waterfalls with the guidance and confidence of the team. The only way to describe these adventures would be sensory overload. We've seen the most overwhelming views, pushed ourselves and made memories that will last a lifetime. 100% recommend to everyone and anyone, Dan and Becky will guide you through a fantastic experience laughing and smiling the whole way. Incredible staff, incredible weekend.
