WILD CAMP
A wild night out! Pack your Canoe full of expedition gear and paddle off into the sunset. An hour or so later you'll touch down on the shore of a deserted island that will be your home for the night, with the comfiest bed - a hammock!
Enjoy a delicious meal cooked over the fire and while the evening away sharing stories around camp.
Fall asleep under a planetarium sky to the sound of rustling leaves, lapping water and owls in the canopy above you.
After a great night's sleep you'll have the option of a sunrise Wild Swim before tucking into a camp breakfast and some fresh coffee! Fuelled up and ready to go you'll paddle away waving goodbye to your island home, but with memories to last a lifetime.
All food, soft drinks and technical equipment provided. You must bring your own sleeping bag, roll matt, warm clothing, head torch and any other tipple you may fancy!

A truly magical experience we will never forget. Our ‘Canoe and Hammock out on a wild Lake District island’ experience was the perfect autumn getaway canoeing, sleeping in hammocks, eating fantastic campfire food, wild swimming and getting engaged! Becky and Dan helped me create the perfect proposal recommending the perfect spot and photographing all the incredible moments. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

This little overnight adventure is one to remember! Dan and Becki will take great care of everyone (food, safety, accommodations, etc.) and ensure you have a great time. We had our three year old and 18 month old with us and we still had an amazing time and they had a blast too. From the paddle out to the island with the Mountain View all around, to a rustic set up, fun island to explore, yummy hot fire cooked meal, plus dessert!, great company to swap stories with, and to wake up to another camp style breakfast after a wild morning swim (if you choose), and paddle back, it’s sure to be a trip to remember! Even if you’re hesitant to take your little ones out, you’ll be well taken care of and Dan and Becki will make sure everyone gets in on the fun adventure of canoeing and camping together!

We had the most amazing time with Dan and Becki. It was a pure, adventurous get away that we enjoyed more than we could have imagined. They were patient and helpful as we canoed across to the island and were very accommodating with dietary requirements.
We can’t wait to try the next activity out. We hope to book another weekend soon.
P.s. Pan (the dog) was a true entertainer and leader.
